About the artist
My name is Lana and I am an artist who specialises in portraits and illustrations. I have been doing art for 30+ years and studied graphic design at College.
I started Lanas portraits during lockdown of 2020, during a time that families couldn't be together but I found that I could bring people together through my art, reuniting loved ones passed and living. I also am able to draw pets, bringing your beloved pets back into your home.
Growing from my portraits business I have also illustrated 2 children's books and compiled illustrations for a stamp making business.

I studied graphic design at Northbrook collage and got a national diploma in graphic design and a pre-diploma in art and design.
I was commissioned to design the feature walls in The Nelly Peck in 1995.
Most recently I have been creating portraits for people who couldn’t be together during the COVID lockdowns and people who have loved ones that are no longer with us.
In 2021 I was hired to illustrate a series of children’s books called “Timmys magic book” written by Mandy Swiftson. We have currently released two books so far, but there are more to come!
